Meet Coach Blitz! He’s the newest person to join our team at DataForce Fantasy Football. We brought him on board to help you learn our software. He’ll guide you through the instructional videos we’ve begun making.
Click on the thumbnail picture of Coach at the top left of any page at DataForceFF.com, and then follow him to our new video page. There, you can watch our growing list of videos.
Also look for the little yellow button on some of our pages that says “VIDEO”. It’ll play the video that relates to the topic of that page. For example, “How to buy your first team” is the video at the top left of the lobby.
Live Draft Tonight
Our first Contender league this year drafts tonight (Friday, June 27). As I write this, there are 14 people joined and 8 are already paid. If you want to draft, join and pay quickly! Waiting until tonight will probably be too late.
COPPER 143 will lock and random draft positions will be automatically assigned as soon as four more people pay.
Not able to make it tonight? We’ve spread a few more live drafts throughout July, so you have options! But we don’t run very many this early in the Summer, so don’t wait to claim your spot.
DataForce’s “Classic” Look Goes Away July 1st
As mentioned in our prior newsletter, we’re shutting down the classic look. Most of you have never seen it, and those who have, hopefully don’t remembr it. But if you’ve opted to continue the “classic look” on your My Account page, you’ll be switched over to the new look on July 1st.
Coach Blitz doesn’t like the classic look. He won’t make an appearance in the header of that old skin. The new search bar can’t be found there either.
If you’re still on the “classic look” and want to switch over now, visit your My Account page and choose the background titled New Look. Be sure to click SAVE.
Tin Babies Are Almost Over
We stop adding Tin Baby leagues at the end of June!
We’ve JUST added our last one, a standard draftmaster league. What’s there in the lobby now will stay there until they all fill, but we won’t be adding more.
If you want to play in one more of these final $22 leagues, grab one now from the lobby! At this time, I see five remaining Tin Babies you can still play in!
LEGENDS Orphan Needs a Home
The Celestials, a team in the Legends league, begins drafting on July one. It’s still on the marketplace and needs a happy home quickly, because keeper selection is due tomorrow night.
We’ve priced it to get it sold in a hurry.
This is a Bronze Superflex Bestball Dynasty league, marked down well below half-price, and because it’s an orphan, you pay no deposit!
The Newbie Corner: Watch Lists
DataForce’s Watch List feature was added to the software only a couple of years ago. It’s a handy tool that I suspect some of our customers haven’t found yet.
A “watch list” helps you keep track of one or more players in all your leagues at the same time. A watch list doesn’t DO anything, it just keeps track of players.
One use of a watch list might be to track a sleeper or handcuff, so that you know when somebody drops him in any of your leagues. Another might be to watch your favorite player during draft season, to make sure you snag him in your share of your leagues.
Simply go to the watch list page (you can find it under the Owner tab) and move any number of players to the box titled My Watch List. Be sure to click SAVE MY WORK. You can then revisit this page anytime to see the status of each player, on the one selected team or on all your teams at once.
