We get questions every so often about how your prize money is protected. And that’s a good thing. You SHOULD ask. And you should know which fantasy operators are compliant.
In today’s age of fantasy football regulation, your money at fantasy football sites is a lot safer than it was in the past. Regulatory agencies require that prize money be kept separate from operating funds, in a segregated prize fund that cannot be touched by the company or its creditors.
DataForce prize money, deposits and customer balances are held in a Fidelity fund by a separate entity called DataForce Holdings. It is reviewed quarterly by an arms-length attorney and accounting firm. You can read the latest review on our website, at the same link. And as required by several states, DataForce undergoes an annual financial audit that includes this trust fund and its responsible handling, to insure the safety of your money.
One way you can determine which fantasy sites are safe to play at (both season-long and Daily Fantasy Sports) is to just pick a prominent state and check out their list of licensed game providers. DataForce was, for example, the first season-long company to be approved and licensed in New York.

August Leagues Added To Lobby
A few days ago, we filled out our lobby with an initial set of August live drafts. Please take a look, and join the leagues that interest you. We typically remove leagues from the lobby that don’t receive interest, so stake your claim now.
You don’t have to pay yet, but it sure helps the leagues fill when others see paid members! If you want to see your league fill, the best way to make it happen is to put your money into it.
If you don’t see the league you’re hoping for, look for the REQUEST A LEAGUE button at the bottom of the lobby. It won’t be there for long, because we receive several requests per day when it’s up, and we don’t want the lobby to grow too big!

Big Money Dreams
We often get requests for big-money leagues that we feel we’re not quite able to fill, yet. After all, DataForce is not yet one of the big dogs.
Word gets around that our prize return is especially enormous for big-money leagues, so those who want more excitement look to us. And we have a heckuva time turning down the requests.
So, we’ll put it to you. Please write and let us know if you would be interested in any of the following. We’re not asking for a commitment, we’re just trying to judge interest.

- One (and only one) twelve-team $5,000 DataForce Bowl to crown a 2025 DataForce champion. The prize return would be the usual 98%.
- A gold $500 dynasty league. Gold leagues return $96% in prizes, but we would require another $500 deposit for a league of this size, to insure that we could keep the league running many years.
- A ruby $350 guillotine league. 95% return, with a first place prize of $4,766. But would the guillotine be more stress than you can handle, with this much money on the line?
