The 2025-2026 season is almost in the history books! It all wraps up tomorrow in a coastal war. So are you rooting for “East Coast” or “West Coast”? New England or Seattle? Either way, it’s time to warm up the buffalo wings!
Here’s what you need to know after the game ends:
Playoff Prizes Available Tuesday

Barring any unforseen difficulties, the plan for finishing up DataForce’s playoff leagues is to lock statistics down Sunday night and open up contest results for one day of review, and then make prizes available to claim on Tuesday!
Claim your prize winnings by clicking on the pink button on your My Account page. You can then withdraw the money from your account, or just leave it there for the 2026 season if you like!
MyFantasyLeague Contests Will Roll Into 2026 This Week

Most of DataForce’ contests are hosted on our own software, at www.dataforceff.com. But for those who prefer, we also offer leagues on MyFantasyLeague.com
Typically, MFL is ready to roll into each new year just a few days after the Super Bowl. That means, provided you’ve renewed, you’ll soon be able to use new-year leagues for your MFL dynasty and keeper leagues. (Leagues hosted on DataForce are already available, having rolled into 2026 on January 1st.)
Finally, 2026 draft orders will be easily viewed and easy to trade, and 2028 picks will also be available for trade!
We’re targeting Wednesday or Thursday of this week to make this happen for MFL, but we try to give them just a little extra time to work out any new-year kinks in the software. That means we may not be the first fantasy football company to make their 2026 MFL leagues available, but it’s coming very soon. Hang in there, you’ll be notified by email when they’re ready.
1099s Available For Download

If your winnings for leagues paid out in 2024 exceeded your entry fees for those leagues by $600, a 1099 has been prepared for you. Check your My Account page for the big pink button that says DOWNLOAD 1099.
Note that these 1099’s are for the 2024 season! The 2024 season prizes were paid in January 2025, and is just now being reported to the IRS.
Good news: We’re hearing the IRS is raising their reporting limit from $600 to $2000 beginning next year! If your winnings don’t exceed your entry fees by $2000 from the 2025-26 season, you may not get a 1099!
Off-Season Survey

DataForce’s off-season survey is up and running! You have until March 15 to give us your feedback.
Please do take a few minutes and let us know what direction you want to see DataForce Fantasy Football go! The survey discusses possible rule changes, software enhancements, and new league types, and we’d really, really like your input.
Kick Off the 2026 Season Now with a New Team
We have begun adding new Tin Baby and Dynasty leagues to the lobby! These leagues will start drafting as soon as enough paid members join, so jump in now to help them fill up.

The REQUEST A LEAGUE button has been enabled at the bottom of the lobby for a short while. If you have a particular type of league you’re looking for, and wanting to draft soon, put in a request!
Or, if you want to begin managing a team immediately rather than waiting for a draft to form, check out the Orphan Marketplace to buy “used” multi-year leagues and start trading with other teams right now! These teams are all for-sale-by-owner–DataForce does not make anything on the sale of these leagues–so feel free to negotiate prices with the owners. Remember that you must also pay the 2026 entry fee when buying an orphaned team.
Happy shopping!

If for some reason you do NOT want your account synced to the blog, just visit your My Account page below, and uncheck the box that says “Automatically keep my dataforceff.blog account in sync.”
