There’s something new at DataForce Fantasy Football! Build a custom skin to reflect the look you want for your UI as you play in DataForce leagues!
You’ll find the locker room under the My Account menu on the Administrative hub, for both the full-screen and the mobile version. On the mobile version, you’ll want to open the Hub Menu to find it.
Here’s how it works:
All the Stuff You Can Change
You’re looking for a new look, so look at all the features you can change for your DataForce experience:
- Color scheme
- A banner image at the top of the page
- Lighting – Dark, Light, or Classic, which mixes the two
- Corner rounding on fields and tables
- Field and table “depth” (shadow)
- Glossy or flat menu buttons
- Lettering (font)
- The “ghost player” display
Light Mode & Dark Mode
Every skin has a light mode, a dark mode, and a “classic” look which is sort of the light mode inside a dark border. You can have a different mode for your laptop and your phone.
Some devices (phones in particular) allow you to set them at light or dark mode! If you choose “Auto” as the mode in the DataForce lock room, our software will follow the choice you set on your device.
In fact, some devices have a “sunset” setting that switches it between light and dark mode. If you have that enabled, DataForce will follow along!
About the Color Palettes
We’ve carefully built some color schemes for you to choose from, but you should be aware
Here is the starting color set, to which we’ll be adding more options as time permits:
- DataForce. The teal color scheme you’re used to seeing.
- Gridiron. A slate-colored scheme with hard edges.
- Onyx. The only dark-on-light by default scheme. A glossy blue.
- Tailgate. An olive color mix.
- Homecoming. Golden colors for the Autumn look.
- Primetime. Because everybody loves royal colors.
When you select a color palette, you’re also selecting its default settings for corner rounding, shadow, and the rest. Pick your color first, then customize it with the other settings to match your preferences.
What Else You Need To Know
- You don’t have to change anything! If you like the DataForce look already, or you’re just averse to change, stay out of the locker room. That said, there will be unavoidable minor changes even to the original look, as we move to “skins” usage.
- This is a beta release (8/7/26). There will be tweaks coming, and there will be more color schemes, so comments/suggestions are welcome. Write us at [email protected] if you see something that’s missing, or something that doesn’t look quite right. Thanks in advance for your input!
- This deployment comes with an upgrade to The Wonk, our diminutive advice-giver for player rankings, which is why you see him sneaking into the article near the top. We’ll be publishing a blog post soon about Wonk enhancements as well.
