Dataforce Fantasy Football just released version 2 of its mobile app for playing season-long fantasy football.
IOS: Download free from the App Store
Android: Download free from Google Play
Our New Mobile App

It’s here, guys!
Version 2 of DataForce’s mobile app has arrived, and is available now for download in the Google play store and Apple’s app store. Search for DataForce Fantasy Football in the stores, or follow the links above.
Here are some differences you’ll notice right away:
1. Navigation is greatly improved, with a permanent header menu, many more hot buttons in the slide-out, and forward/backward buttons at the top.

2. Attractive headers and splash page and action buttons, with a more sleek look overall.
3. Crisper, more readable pages.
4. Better integration with the notepad feature, the Wonk, and more.
5. More useful information on All My Teams, including a short status display under every team.

6. Access to more mobile-sized pages, for less frequent switching to the full-screen version.
7. In nearly every way, the app and the mobile version are now identical. The primary difference is the hot-button slide-out on the left. You can use DataForce’s mobile version with your phone or ipad’s browser, or you can take a step up and use the app. Both will work the same.
What you should do right now

First, if it’s been quite a while since your last download from the store, you should probably install an upgrade. Even if your app automatically changed to display the full slide-out (swipe from the left to verify that it changed; you should see many more buttons), it’s a good idea to get the latest build from the store. The store links are at the top of the article.
Then, swipe from the left or touch the menu button at the very top left to see all of new hot buttons. Touch the Walkthrough button to get a quick overview of the new navigation tools.
If you discover any issues

This is not a beta release–it’s live now to the universe–but if you do see something that looks or feels odd, please let us know! We’re super anxious to get any issues nailed down quickly before the busy season is upon us. And that includes any suggestions for improvement! Talk to us at [email protected].
Leave a friendly rating
We think it’s worth a five-star review, and hopefully you agree! It would be ever-so-kind of you to tell the world.
Just locate the three stacked dots at the top right, and select option Rate now. Your comments and 5-star rating will be much appreciated!

Thank you so much!
Make the mobile version your default
If you like the app, you’ll like the new mobile version, too. That’s because the app is basically a window to DataForce’s mobile version, where most of the updates occurred. You’re already running version 2 of DataForce’s mobile software, we brought everybody up to this version automatically, and that means if you bypass the app and go directly to www.dataforceff.com with your web browser, you’ll see exactly the same thing as described here, except for the app’s slide-out.
Still, there are two settings on your My Account page of the Administrative hub that you need to know about:
- Your mobile preference determines which version of the software–the mobile version or the full-screen version–appears when you log in with your mobile device or tablet. If you still like the full-screen version better, by all means set that as your default!
- Your mobile preference is currently set to version 2. If you’re not ready yet for the switch, just change your version back to 1, and you’ll get the old display and navigation.
No More Moving Players to I/R Before the Draft
In recent years, you’ve been allowed to move players who qualified for I/R to your Injured Reserve spot before the draft, so as to free up another draft spot. No longer.
When you select your keepers for a multi-year league, all players automatically come off I/R. In the past, however, you could strategically slide those players who still qualified back to Injured Reserve, so long as you did it before the draft started.

The strategy simply became too problematic and unpopular last year, with too many solid keepers qualifying for I/R. So for 2026 we’re going back to the way it was a few years back.
Keeping an injured player on your roster now during the rookie/free-agent draft will mean drafting one less player, going forward.
Choose Your Preferred Host Now on the Renewals Page

What’s your favorite when it comes to the fantasy platform: MyFantasyLeague or DataForce? We offer leagues on both platforms, though MFL is reserved mostly for returning dynasty and keeper leagues.
The two platforms require minor differences in rules, and MFL costs a bit more ( $7 per team – we have to pay to use their platform), but for the most part they share the same ruleset. But do you have a preference?
If so, be sure to mark your preference on the Renewal Page. As the renewal deadline arrives (Saturday, May 9th), if everyone still in the league has the same preference, or indicates that they don’t care which host is used, we’ll move the league to the members’ choice of platform. (All members must agree for a change to be made.)
The Best Draft Spots in 2025

What was the winningest draft spot in 2025? Check out DataForce owner Lee Harmon’s article, pulling the results of redraft leagues from last year.
There’s a clear winner, and you might never guess what spot it is! Hint: Drafting first overall wasn’t the path to victory.
Single-Year Leagues Added to the Lobby

It’s time, guys. We’re well into April.
Time to pick out some single-year leagues from the lobby. You’re not restricted to just Tin Baby leagues anymore.
Tin babies are cheap fun, but they are a bit restrictive. If you’ve had enough draft practice, and you’re ready to move on to something bigger, we’re ready for you!

But if you’re still looking for fun, inexpensive draft practice that you can play all year, we’ll be running Tin Babies through June. Tin Babies are all bestball leagues, and at DataForce, bestball carries two flavors – [1] Leagues that you manage weekly and [2] Draftmaster leagues that are one-and-done, where your involvement ends after the draft.
Here’s a quick video about bestball leagues at DataForce.
Renewals Are Underway!
Dynasty leagues at DataForce are 72% renewed for 2026, and many owners have been trading players and picks furiously since January. Don’t miss out on the action, start NOW to build the perfect dynasty this year!

As soon as you renew your multi-year team(s), we’ll turn on your trading status.
