Several things we want to remind you about today. Nothing here is really new today–maybe we should have called this an “oldsletter”–but it’s all relevant, and we don’t want you to miss anything.
Holdouts Soon No Longer Qualify For I/R
For years, we’ve allowed holdouts to qualify on I/R. In fact, we’ve allowed this since the COVID days, because it was the work-around at the time.
This changes when the season starts this year! Guys like Brandon Aiyuk, who are just holding out and not really on their team’s I/R, shouldn’t be allowed on your team’s I/R either. It’s allowed for now just because you may have been drafting him hoping to hide him in Injured Reserve until things settle down, but the rule is finally changing back the way it’s supposed to be.
Let’s hope things do settle down for Aiyuk before the season begins. Holdouts won’t qualify for your I/R slot as of September 9, the first day of the regular season.
Football Guys Integration
Football Guys recently completed their integration with DataForce for league management help. The most valuable tool in their toolbox right now is the Draft Dominator. It’s their premium drafting tool that adjusts to your DataForce league settings, and syncs directly with our live drafts.
These guys come highly recommended, you can’t go wrong here.

With this finalizing of the locker room, we also fixed a couple of other minor issues: more color in Day Game mode, and sharper table cell borders to meet WCAG standards for interactive UI components.
It’s even more fun than when you were a kid playing with crayons – and you don’t have to have a creative bone in your body. Just pick a color, a banner image, a few options for shadows and button rounding and more, and you’re all set! You’ve created your own look!

Paper Check Deadline
DataForce does everything we can to let you save as much money as possible – including taking the deposit fees out of the entry fee. That means when you choose a cheaper way to deposit, you pay less for your team.
ACH (e-check) is cheaper than credit card. Our merchant accounts charge less. And even cheaper than ACH is the paper check. If you don’t want to pay any deposit fees at all, opt for the old-fashioned way! Do this especially for high-dollar deposits. Just email us ahead of time with the check amount and check number.
You can also use your bank’s bill-pay option. Let us know you used bill-pay instead of a personal check.
But here’s the catch: Checks must be mailed before August 16th. That’s just three days away. An exception to this rule can be made for most repeat customers, but we’d still much rather you give your checks plenty of time in transit.
Diamond Leagues Begin Drafting Soon
Ready to play with the big boys? Diamond leagues offer the highest challenge and the biggest payout at DataForce (a whopping 98% return!). These $3000 leagues are all no-trading, standard lineups. Two email drafts and one live draft still have openings.

Last Call For GOLD Dynasty
This off-season, our survey included a question about how many would be interested in a Gold ($500) dynasty. The answer was a resounding YEP with 39 people expressing interest!
Unfortunately, we’ve had trouble getting this one off the ground. Lots of interest, lots of joining members, but few who will put down the money to play. So here’s the deal: If you want to play in a $500 dynasty, tell us now, and we’ll lock up your spot. You won’t need to deposit until the league fills.
But if we don’t hear from enough people, it’s time to shut this one down and pull it from the lobby. Maybe Gold is just too rich.
Push Notifications Reminder
This Summer, DataForce upgraded its mobile app to include push notifications. You know, those little numbers on the app icon of your home screen, showing you how many messages you have in your app.
Push notifications are configured on your Owner->Setup page, at the same place where you select which events should trigger an email or text message.
You can get these messages for draft updates and for trade offers on all your teams. Know immediately when you’ve got an action needing your attention.
The DataForce app (seen here in the Blackout skin, a popular option from the Locker Room above) received a complete makeover this year with lots of new features. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
