What's Next?

You're at AboutDFF→GettingStarted, in case you need to find your way back here.

1. Verify ID

Soon, you'll need to verify your age (18+ for most places) and state of residence. It isn't necessary to do this immediately, but you may as well get it done. It's quick and easy.

2. Join a league

Brand new to fantasy football? Maybe you'll want to check out this fantasy football primer first.

Then head over to the lobby and pick out a league or two you'd like to join. DataForce has lots of league options to choose from, and once you figure out what type of league you'd like to participate in, you can use the filters in the lobby to display just those types.

Go ahead and join as many leagues as you like. You're not obligated to play, and you haven't paid any money yet.

Pay particular attention to the type of draft. Some customers prefer email (slow) drafts and some prefer live drafts.

3. Find the rulebook

No, you don't have to read the whole thing! Just know where to go when you have a question.

If nothing else, you might want to take a quick peek at our scoring rules.

4. Deposit money

Ready to take the plunge? First you'll need to deposit money into your new account. You can then spend that money by paying for the league(s) you joined.

There are several ways to deposit money, all of them from your My Account page: By credit card, ACH (e-check), and even by mailing a check.

5. Pay for your league

Depositing money into your account doesn't pay for your league! You still have to spend the money you deposited by either returning to the lobby to click PAY, or doing the same thing on your My Leagues page.

You're still not obligated to play! You can back out any time you like, up to the point where the league fills. Draft positions are assigned the moment it fills, so no refund is possible after that.

6. Learn your way around

Get ready! As soon as your league fills, draft positions will be randomly assigned and you'll be able to start managing your team. See the button at the top right that says TEAM MANAGER? That's an entirely separate hub of menu options to manage your new team.

Your team won't show up on the Team Manager hub until it's filled, but you can use a couple of other tools to browse the software. Return to the Home Page and look for these two options:
