How To Enable Geolocation

DataForce Fantasy Football needs your physical location to confirm you’re legally allowed to play and to handle taxes correctly — many states now require this. When you pay for a league, your browser or phone will ask permission to share your location; simply choose Allow. If you blocked it before, here’s how to turn it back on.

How geolocation works

Your phone, tablet, or computer can determine your latitude and longitude. We don’t need pinpoint accuracy — we just use those coordinates to find the state you’re in, so we can confirm play is legal there and apply the correct taxes.

The quick way (works in almost every browser)

Look at the left end of the address bar for a lock, sliders, or location icon. Click it, find Location, set it to Allow, then reload the page (press F5, or pull down to refresh on a phone) and try your purchase again.

By browser (desktop)

Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Location. Remove dataforceff.com from “Not allowed to use location,” then reload and try again.

Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Location → Settings. Delete any block listed for dataforceff.com, then reload and try again.

Safari (Mac): Safari → Settings → Websites → Location, and set dataforceff.com to Allow. Also confirm Location Services is turned on under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, with Safari enabled in the list.

On a phone or tablet

Two things both need to be on:

• Your device’s location. iPhone/iPad: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services (on), then enable it for your browser or the DataForce app. Android: Settings → Location (on), then allow location for your browser or app.
• Permission for DataForce. Choose Allow (or “Allow while using”) when your browser or the app asks.

On a phone (for DataForce customers, not Apex Fantasy Football), the DataForce mobile app is the easiest option — it asks for your location once and remembers it.

VPNs and location apps

Please turn off any VPN, proxy, or location-changing app before you pay. We verify your real location for legal compliance, and a masked or spoofed location will block the purchase.
