Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers DataForce, LLC's (hereafter DataForce) treatment of personally identifiable information collected from customers (hereafter "customer" or "you") who use the DataForce Fantasy Football software, website, and mobile application, as well as customer information that we acquire in the course of our business. This Policy also covers the treatment of personally identifiable information that DataForce's business partners may share with us.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that DataForce does not own or control or to people that DataForce does not employ or manage, including companies where information must be shared in order to provide service, such as myfantasyleague.com. However, DataForce is very careful in selecting only those companies that have very careful privacy and security practices.

DataForce requires all customers to maintain an account on our server with personal information such as name, mailing address, and phone number. In the course of processing a payment transaction, we also receive information about the payment that a consumer has furnished in depositing money.

DataForce uses the information collected to provide services and to process deposit transactions. DataForce may send you service announcements, newsletters, and periodic notices about new services. Personally identifiable consumer information is used to process payment transactions, assist you with customer service and marketing our services and for no other purposes. DataForce does not store credit card numbers in its software or on its servers.

In the course of providing services, DataForce uses cookies to maintain login information. DataForce does not collect any information from your browser, demographics or otherwise.

DataForce does not offer services or sell products to children. DataForce does not request or knowingly collect personally identifiable contact information from anyone under the age of 18.

DataForce is a general-audience service intended for adults and is not directed to children. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect, request, or store personally identifiable information from any child under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us through our Contact Us page so that we can remove it. Additional tools for restricting minors' access to our services are described on our Parental Control page.

When you attempt to purchase a team or make a deposit, we collect your device's precise geographic location (GPS coordinates) at the time of that transaction. We do this to comply with state and tribal laws governing paid fantasy contests — specifically, to confirm that you are physically located in a jurisdiction where these contests are legal, that you are not located on tribal lands or in another prohibited area, and to apply the correct regulatory fees and taxes.

We collect location only at the moment you initiate one of these transactions; we do not track your location in the background or while you are simply browsing the site or app.

To determine your location, we use your device's or browser's location services, which will ask for your permission before sharing your location with us. We convert the coordinates into an approximate city, state, and postal code using a third-party mapping service, and we may use third-party services to detect the use of VPNs or proxy servers that would prevent accurate location verification. The coordinates and the derived city, state, and postal code are stored with your account as a record of the transaction.

We do not use your location information for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

The DataForce Fantasy Football mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices. When you use the mobile app and log in to your account, the app may collect a device push token — a unique identifier generated by your device's operating system — for the purpose of delivering push notifications to your device.

Push notifications may be used to send you timely information such as lineup reminders, scoring updates, waiver wire alerts, and other league-related notices. Your device push token is stored securely on our servers and is used solely for this purpose. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

Push notifications are entirely optional. You may enable or disable them at any time through your device's notification settings (iOS: Settings > Notifications > DataForce Fantasy Football; Android: Settings > Apps > DataForce Fantasy Football > Notifications). Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the app or any other DataForce service. If you disable notifications, your device token will no longer be used to contact you, and it will be removed from our active records upon your next login.

Protecting personally identifiable information about customers is an important part of our business. We share and disclose such information only as described below.

DataForce will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when: 1) we have your consent to share the information; 2) we need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested, such as to the Gaming Commission of your state; or 3) we need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of DataForce to provide a product or service to you, or who provide a service used by DataForce, such as myfantasyleague.com. Personally identifiable customer information is shared with third parties (such as banks and credit card processors) also to the extent necessary for DataForce to deliver payment processing services.

Push notification delivery is facilitated through Expo's push notification service (expo.dev), which routes notifications to Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) on our behalf. No personally identifiable information beyond the device token is shared with these services.

We also may release personally identifiable information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our Merchant Agreement and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of DataForce, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and risk reduction.

Information security is critical to our business. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We store information gathered on secure computers hosted by InMotion.com; however, your credit card information is not stored.

DataForce and its chosen credit card processing service employ the most current security techniques to keep your payment information secure according to PCI Data Security Standards.

We also require that any personally identifiable customer information sent to us, by you, be encrypted using SSL encryption. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your Login ID/password and to your computer. Sign off when finished using a shared computer and otherwise protect the password used to access DataForce software.

DataForce reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. If there are material changes to this statement or in how DataForce will use personally identifiable information, DataForce will notify you by email prior to implementing the change.
